Manny Mota's "Field of Dreams" Charity Golf Tournament

La Cañada Flintridge Country Club, La Cañada
Please join us for the 6th Annual Manny Mota's "Field of Dreams" Charity Golf Tournament to benefit the Manny Mota International Foundation. The Manny Mota International Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1967 by Manny and Margarita Mota. The Mota Foundation's health and baseball-focused programs serve youth in Los Angeles and at its Campo de Sueños complex in the Dominican Republic. The event includes 4-person scramble format, putting contest, lunch, silent auction, wine reception and dinner.

Fees: Individual golfer is: $200; a foursome is: $800; Auction and dinner only is: $60.

The 2010 Milestone House Golf Tournament
Monday, September 13th 12:00 p.m.
El Camino Country Club, Oceanside
Please join us in helping at risk children by participating in our Golf Tournament! Milestone House, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation is a residential treatment facility for emotionally disturbed teen girls that was founded in 1992. The children with whom we work are victims of abuse, abandonment, molest, and/or neglect and as a result suffer from a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. We provide a caring environment where they can live, learn, and grow and just be kids. The event includes golf, dinner and some great raffle prize opportunities.

Fees: Individual golfer is: $100 and dinner only is: $40.

NAWBO-OC's 15th Annual Remarkable Women Awards Event & Dinner
Tuesday, October 5th - 5:30 to 8:00 pm
Hilton Hotel - 3050 Bristol Street, Costa Mesa
On October 5th, the Orange County Chapter members of NAWBO and more than 600 business women associates, participating professional organizations, community partners, and friends will gather to honor the Remarkable Women Award winners of 2010 including EWGA's Member of the Year! Women manage and own businesses, raise families, volunteer their talents and time, run for office, and contribute to the community in many other ways. Thousands of women participate in more than one-hundred women’s professional and trade organizations throughout Orange County. In 1996, to recognize the outstanding members who contribute their time and talent to these associations and to the community, NAWBO-OC established the Annual Remarkable Women Awards Event. Constituents from all over the County gather together to honor their organization’s Member of the Year. The goal is to create strong affiliations among members and leaders of these organizations, and provide them with valuable community exposure.
